Are the Books in Good Condition?We have thousands of books for sale and stock is replenished frequently so there is always an interesting selection of books to browse. All of our hardback, paperback and oversized books are in good to excellent condition. They make great and affordable gifts! 2. What Categories of Books Are For Sale? Biography, Business/Finance/Career/Law, Children's, Computer, Cooking, Crafts/Hobbies/Art/Music/Sports/How To, Education/Science/Poetry/Textbooks, Foreign, Gardening/Geography/Nature, Mysteries, Sci-Fi, Romance, Health/Medical, History/Politics, Fiction, Parenting/Maternity/Baby/Divorce, Self Help/Diet/Fitness/Humor/Cartoons, Renaissance, Religion/Travel, Priced As Marked, Audio Tapes, VHS Tapes, Large Print, and CDs.

What Are the Prices? How Do I Pay?
We accept cash, checks, and money orders. Yes! Book dealers are always welcome at our sales and can find some especially good buys. 5. What Are the Raffle Prizes? Local establishments generously donate raffle prizes and tickets are $1.00 or 3 for $2.00. Past book sales raffle prizes have included gourmet gift baskets, framing services, restaurant gift certificates, gourmet groceries, spa products cooking classes, and photography sessions. Winners are contacted by telephone. You do NOT have to be present when the raffle is drawn. 6. Who Benefits from the BOOKWORM BOOKtique? First of all - you do! Selling books help circulate books back into the community at affordable prices. Second, all proceeds benefit the Friends of the Folsom Library, a non profit organization. The Friends' sole purpose is to support the Folsom Public Library projects, such as the Children's programs, and purchasing equipment and computers. Yes! We welcome individual and corporate sponsors. Sponsorships are available to help defray costs, such as renting equipment, printing, food for volunteers, and truck rental. Sponsorships are tax deductible and sponsors receive a Tax Identification Letter. 8. Who Do I Contact For More Information? Please contact us by email to BOOKtique@FriendsOfTheFolsomLibrary.org or call (916) 608-8743 We welcome volunteers 18 years old and up! We can arrange school community services points. How Do I Donate Books and Videos? Book sales are the major fundraiser for the Friends of the Folsom Library. We cannot succeed without your generous donations of books. The Friends welcome book donations in good or better condition that are saleable. Unfortunately, certain items do not sell so we cannot accept them, including Readers Digest or encyclopedias. We welcome all other books (including textbooks), audio cassettes, video tapes, DVDs, and CDs. We also accept computer books from year 2000 to present. The Friends' sole purpose is to support the Folsom Public Library projects, such as the Children's programs, and purchasing equipment and computers. All donations are tax deductible and receipts are given upon request. Please bring donations to BOOKWORM BOOKtique at the Folsom Public Library at 411 Stafford Street in Folsom during opening hours.
