Isn't it great to be a Friend's
Volunteer?
Everyone at the Friends of the
Folsom Library's holiday luncheon
on December 1 had a rollicking good time, especially when Mary Cobb
unwrapped her present -- a walking, talking plush pig (thank you,
Julie).
Friends and guests filled the Library's meeting rooms, along with
wonderful food, decorations (thank you, Mary S and Maggie), and the big,
beautiful pine cones, now on sale at the BOOKtique for a dollar each
(thank you, Mary C). Phyllis promised to share her appetizer recipe, and
Bill Cobb gave a glowing account of the financial stability of our
group.
Also in the BOOKtique at the present time are oodles of holiday books,
toys, and very inexpensive gift items, including jewelry. See you there!
