Volunteers Recognition Dinner

A lovely dinner was held at Mimi's Restaurant in Folsom on Tuesday, October 16th to gather all the active volunteers of Friends of the Folsom Library. Attending the dinner were people who took leadership positions at the recent Bi-Annual Book Sale and those that work on a regular basis in the BOOKtique.

The twenty-five quests enjoyed lively visiting and fellowship as they dined on an incredible menu of delicious choices. Seated randomly so that conversations could flow and volunteers could meet one another, all left with the full awareness that they belong to a remarkable and diverse group where community service is key.

Upon leaving, each participant was warmly gifted a Friends of the Folsom Library tote bag and a gift certificate for purchases in the BOOKtique.

It is clear that friendships grew and the commitment to the Friends of the Folsom Library's success was renewed.
